Mrs. Dien Thi Lan Phuong has been elected as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Nafoods Group since September 2021.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Finance - Accounting in senior management positions for all types of businesses, mainly multinational companies present in the Vietnamese market, such as KFC Vietnam, Universal Petroleum Vietnam (UP), Puratos Vietnam, PPG PMC Vietnam, METRO Cash & Carry VIETNAM. At these organizations, she has extracted substantial practical experience in financial management, risk management, experience in building and administering an effective and advanced internal management system and applied it successfully in large corporations in Vietnam in recent years, such as VINMART Retail Company, Loc Troi Group, Tan Hiep Phat Group.
As an independent member of the Board of Directors, she is passionate about Nafoods Group's vision and mission and is ready to make significant contributions to the group's sustainable development.
Started a business at a young age, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung has been the founder and leader of Nafoods Group from the first day of its establishment until now.
During more than 25 years of sailing the "Nafoods Group" boat as a "captain" with passion and ambition to contribute to changing the face of Vietnam's agriculture, he has led the group to grow consistently according to Nafoods' core cultural values: towards the stated vision and mission of becoming a pioneer in developing a digital, green and sustainable agricultural value chain; provide the world with natural, safe agricultural products; and bring a good life to everyone, especially farmers, making Nafoods brand affirm its position in the international market.
He played a key role in the activities of Nghe An Young Entrepreneurs Association with the Chairman position during the first ten years the Association established and a member of the Executive Board of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA) for many terms. In 2020, he was elected Vice-Chairman of the Association cum Head of Science, Technology and Training Department of Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA).
Mr. Pham Duy Thai has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Nafoods Group since April 2019.
In 2006, after graduating with a major in Agricultural Economics from Hanoi University of Agriculture, Mr. Pham Duy Thai joined and has been with Nafoods ever since.
During 15 years of accompanying the company's development, with interest in the closed agricultural value chain that Nafoods Group is pursuing, a dynamic and progressive working spirit, he was entrusted with various management positions.
From 2013 until now, he held the position of CEO of Nafoods Passion Fruit Joint Stock Company.
From 2019 until now, he held the position of Deputy General Director in charge of Agriculture.
In August 2021, he was appointed as the Director in charge of Management and Investment.
He was once assigned to be in charge of the project to enhance global competitiveness with Nafoods Group's passion fruit value chain, sponsored by Danida - Denmark, and many other agricultural projects.
Mr. Johan Nyvene has been elected as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Nafoods Group since May 2020.
He has knowledge of Vietnam's financial market from over 15 years of working as a financial analyst. Born in Vietnam but raised and educated in the US, Mr. Johan spent the first nine years of his professional financial career as an analyst and international banker, specialized in Southeast Asian markets at CoreStates FirstUnion bank.
He used to be the founder and leader of the Securities Services Division of HSBC Vietnam and is considered one of the pioneers involved in the development of the Vietnamese stock market in the early stages.
With knowledge and experience through international financial institutions, Mr. Johan was appointed to the CEO of Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC), one of the leading securities companies in Vietnam for more than 13 years, until April 2021, when he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of HSC.
Mr. Johan De Geer has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Nafoods Group since August 2017.
He holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and a minor in international business from St. Petersburg State University.
He is also trained in strategy and leadership as an officer in the Swedish infantry after graduating with honors from the Nordic Combat School and has 14 years of executive management experience in emerging markets.
From 2002 to 2006, he worked as a Marketing Director for Chumak – managing a cross-category product portfolio sold under one of Ukraine's most established food brands.
From 2007 to 2009, he worked with the Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm as a management consultant on strategy projects within areas such as M&A, Due Diligence, Organizational Development, Corporate Governance, and Growth Acceleration.
He has resided in Vietnam since 2012 as CEO of Oriflame – one of the most famous consumer brands with a sales network consisting of tens of thousands of independent distributors. Later, he and his associates founded Endurance Capital, a cooperative investment company and one of the major shareholders of Nafoods Group.
